Hecker's Girlfriend Arrested While Visiting Him In Jail
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Fallen auto mogul Denny Hecker's girlfriend, Christi Rowan, was arrested Wednesday night while visiting Hecker inside the Sherburne County Jail in Elk River, according to the jail's officials.
Rowan, who is now in custody at the jail, was arrested at around 7:30 p.m. in the jail's video visiting room.
U.S. Marshalls say Rowan violated her pre-trial release conditions.
Last week, Rowan filed court papers on asking to be sentenced to the lowest possible sentence under the sentencing guidelines, which means no prison time.
Her sentencing is scheduled for Friday.
The prosecution is asking for six months in prison for Rowan, who pleaded guilty last year to two counts of fraud.
Prosecutors say Rowan has a wide-ranging pattern of deception, including lying under oath and helping Hecker in his fraud scheme.
