Delta Pilots To Picket As Contract Negotiations Stall
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Delta Airlines pilots plan to picket outside Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport Thursday, according to a statement from the Airline Pilots Association.
The group says the picket -- which will not involve a strike -- is a response to an ongoing contract negotiation between the airline and its pilots that's lasted for 19 months.
The union said its goal is to achieve "negotiated contractual changes that recognize pilot sacrifices and contributions to Delta's unprecedented success."
The picket is planned for 9 a.m. at the airport, and will continue until 12 p.m.
