Delta: Bird Strike Sends Flight Back To MSP Airport
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Delta Air Lines flight from the Twin Cities to Appleton, Wisconsin had to turn around after a bird strike Thursday night.
Delta officials say a bird hit Flight 2526 after leaving Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
The plane, which had 85 passengers, returned to MSP Airport, where technicians determined there was no mechanical damage.
Delta says the flight eventually reached its destination with no delays or injuries.
