A Look At Minnesota's Oldest, Biggest Independence Day Parade
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Thousands of people turned out Monday in Delano to see Minnesota's oldest and biggest Independence Day parade.
Gov. Mark Dayton was this year's grand marshal, and residents staked out spots up to two hours before the start of the day's festivities.
Parade-goers said they come back year after year to see the floats, horses and eat handfuls of candy.
