DeBlog: Who Gives A Royal $#!^ About The Royal Wedding?
Are you waking up early Friday morning? Do you have royal wedding fever? I want to know why.
CBS News starts coverage at 3 a.m. on WCCO. The wedding starts at 5 a.m., and should be done by 6:15 a.m. So if you want to see the dramatic first kiss, that'll be around 6, I'm guessing. Go ahead and sleep in.
According to my friend Ben Tracy, two billion people are expected to watch this thing on TV. Two billion!
There are 7,000 media people (including Ben) in London for the exciting "I do."
But why? The royals don't have any real power in England, as far as I can tell. The idea of a royal family seems a little outdated. So what's the big deal? Why are so many people fascinated by the royals?
