Dayton Sets Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day In Minn.
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Gov. Mark Dayton has proclaimed Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day in Minnesota in honor of the 70th anniversary of the attacks and the more than 2,400 Americans who died.
The governor has ordered all U.S. and Minnesota flags be flown at half-staff at all state and federal buildings from sunrise to sunset on Wednesday, the anniversary of the attacks.
Dayton's proclamation notes that 84 Naval reservists from Minnesota were serving on active duty at Pearl Harbor at the time of the attacks.
