Dayton Returns, His No. 2 Heads Out Overseas Trip
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton and his lieutenant governor are tag-team travelers.
Dayton was due to return Sunday from a trade mission to China. Meanwhile, Lt. Gov. Yvonne Prettner Solon is getting ready to depart the same day for Germany.
Prettner Solon plans to attend a health care policy summit in Berlin next week as part of an 18-member delegation of government officials, academics and health care providers. Funding for the trip comes from a grant program meant to foster transatlantic policy exchanges.
Dayton's trip began last Friday and involved business leaders and others exploring expanded trade opportunities in the populous Asian nation.
