Dayton Jobs Tour Heads To Winona
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- Gov. Mark Dayton is bringing his statewide jobs tour to southeastern Minnesota.
Dayton kicked off the tour last week in Fergus Falls. The first-term Democrat announced that the second stop will be Wednesday in Winona.
Dayton plans to attend an economic development forum at Southeast Technical College.
Dayton has said he sees the tour as a way to develop a statewide business plan to put people back to work all over the state.
Other stops are planned in the coming weeks. The jobs tour will end with a statewide summit in St. Paul in October.
