Date Night Ideas, Happy Hour Eats: St. Louis Park
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- WCCO found the best date night and happy hour options in St. Louis Park.
It turns out the cheapest deal goes to Cooper Pub & Restaurant at the West End Shops, maybe because it starts so early.
Drink deals get poured beginning at 11 a.m.
"That's not happy hour, that's a happy day," says patron Jordan Huffman.
The food specials start running at 2 p.m. and run from $4 to $6.
"The chicken shots are the best, definitely, they're so good," patron Becky Thelen said. "It has the 2 Gingers glaze. It's crispy."
Deals run until 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and then pick up again later each night.
"We do have the best happy hour in town for sure," manager Brian Elias said.
If nothing on the menu strikes you, the big screen TVs might.
And from the Pub to the Tavern -- WCCO found the best date night in St. Louis Park involves beer and bowling.
"7 and 7 is a Sunday night deal we have here at Park Tavern," manager Kristin Murray said. "It starts at 9 p.m. and goes to close. It's $7 for all you can bowl and $7 for any domestic pitcher."
The snacks are cheap, too. They start at $2.25.
"You come in here on a Sunday night with $20, and you and your date are set for the night," Murray said.
St. Louis Park's new West End is full of restaurants as well as the surrounding area.
Most offer happy hours.
