Crime Notes: Overnight Anoka Stabbing
ANOKA, Minn. (WCCO) -- Anoka Police are following up on several leads after an overnight stabbing that sent the victim to the hospital.
Police say a man was walking home from a convenience store near 7th Avenue and North Street about 4:18 a.m. when he exchanged words with another man who asked for money. The man then stabbed the victim in the stomach.
The victim is at North Memorial Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Police have not been able to talk further with the victim yet because he has been in surgery.
