MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities battled two fires in Minneapolis Sunday afternoon, with one causing at least one injury.

The Minneapolis Fire Department was called to a fire at a strip mall on the 3000 block of Excelsior Boulevard. When crews arrived, a fire had started in a dumpster at Noodles and Co., and spread to the back of the building.

The fire went to a second alarm, but firefighters were able to put the blaze out quickly. There were no victims and no injuries reported at the scene.

Crews were also called to a grass fire at 22 East 15th Street in Minneapolis. Firefighters were able to put it out quickly, but one victim was transported to a hospital for smoke inhalation.

Fire officials say the causes of both fires are under investigation.
