3-Semi Crash Closes I-94 Near Barnesville
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A crash involving three semitrailers has temporarily closed eastbound Interstate 94 at Highway 34 near Barnesville, Minn., according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The Minnesota State Patrol posted a picture to Twitter, saying three semis were involved -- one carrying pigs and one carrying cattle.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use different routes, since the eastbound lanes will remain closed until further notice.
Driving conditions in most of west central Minnesota are listed as difficult due to snow and blowing snow.
Barnesville is located approximately 30 miles southwest of Detroit Lakes, Minn.
