Cops: Man Pulled Unconscious From Icy Maple Grove Pond
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Emergency crews pulled a man out of a pond in Maple Grove Friday night, the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office said.
Authorities received a 911 call just after 8 p.m. located on the 12000 block of Elm Creek Boulevard reporting that a man was seen walking into a pond partially covered with ice near the intersection of Main Street and Arbor Lakes Parkway.
Maple Grove police, an ambulance and a dive team responded to the scene. When the man was pulled out of the frigid water, he was unconscious.
Authorities have not identified the man. He was taken to a Maple Grove hospital.
His condition is not yet known.
