Cops: Man Arrested After Nasty Dorm Room Wake Up
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police say they made an arrest Saturday after a masked suspect woke up someone sleeping in a Mankato dorm room and pepper-sprayed them.
The Mankato Police Department said officers were called to the Julia A. Sears Residence Community on the Minnesota State University campus a little before 5:20 a.m.
That's where they said a victim woke up to a masked suspect. A confrontation then ensued between the two, and the suspect pepper-sprayed the victim before running from the room.
About seven hours later, police arrested 20-year-old Alexander James Gowan-Nuehring of Mankato.
Multiple charges are pending in the case, police said.
