Convict Coach Accused Of Tweeting At Victim From Behind Bars
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - A former tennis coach in prison for sex with a teenager is now accused of asking fellow inmates for help contacting his victim.
Daniel Wilson is serving a year in the work house for sexually assaulting the girl he coached at Visitation High School.
Before being sentenced, he was caught three times trying to contact her. A hearing Thursday will determine if Wilson is at it again.
He's now accused of paying fellow inmates for their access to jail phones.
He then allegedly used that access to ask others to post messages to Twitter for the girl.
If Wilson admits breaking the rules, a judge could revoke his probation. He'll then have to serve his full six-year sentence in prison.
His lawyer told WCCO Tuesday night that Wilson takes this very seriously, and that this will be dealt with in court.
