Comcast To Hire 450 At New MN Call Center
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A new Comcast customer service center is opening in Minnetonka, Minn. and its bringing 450 new jobs with it.
The cable provider said the call center will open this summer and be staffed by more than 500 employees -- 450 new loyalty agents, plus up to 75 management and support staff positions. The company said they will begin hiring for those positions right away.
Bill Wright, the senior vice president of Comcast's Twin Cities Region, said that they are investing in new technology and tools in the new center too. Wright said that he believes that will help them respond better to customers.
