City Of Minneapolis Releases New Smartphone App
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Want to report a pothole, broken streetlight or parking meter while on the go?
There's now an app for that in Minneapolis. The City of Minneapolis is releasing its "Minneapolis 311" app for smartphones on Wednesday.
The mobile app can also be used to report such issues as graffiti, damaged street signs and abandoned vehicles. It uses GPS to identify your location and allows you to snap a photo to add to your service request.
Reports are automatically sent to the correct city department. It also allows you to follow your issue from the time it's reported until it's resolved.
