Christi Rowan To Appear In Court Today
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO/AP) -- The girlfriend of former auto mogul Denny Hecker could soon be joining him behind bars, as she is set to appear in bankruptcy court on Tuesday.
Christi Rowan is accused of not cooperating with in court as Hecker's money problems have been hashed out.
She has been accused of hiding some assets. The trustee in charge of the bankruptcy case says she deserves to be behind bars for doing that.
Hecker remains in federal custody after he pleaded guilty in September to fraud and conspiracy.
Hecker and Rowan landed in hot water last month after it was perceived they were attempting to get married on the sly. Assistant U.S. Attorney Nicole Engisch said U.S. Marshals require a court order to allow a marriage.
Furthermore, Rowan was set to be evicted from the $1.8 million Medina home she shared with Hecker, but she made a deal that would allow her to stay in the home through the holidays.
