Vandals Destroy Headstones In Chisago City Cemetery
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in the Chisago City area are seeking the person, or persons, who vandalized several graves in the South Green Lake Cemetery.
According to the Lakes Area Police Department Facebook page, the vandalism occurred sometime last week.
The damage included ruined tombstones and tipped over headstones.
"While the financial damage is indeed high, it's nothing compared [to] the emotional damage inflicted on those with loved ones buried here," a statement on the Lakes Area Police Department Facebook page said.
