Cher Turns Back Time Again: Tour To Bring Her Back To Mpls.
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Do you believe in life after love? Cher must, because she's coming back to Minneapolis even after her "Farewell Tour" took three pit stops at Target Center roughly one decade ago.
The singer announced Monday her 49-city "Dressed To Kill" tour would begin on March 22, 2014.
Cher's previous tour -- which had evolved into the "Never Can Say Goodbye" tour by the time it had entered its third year -- was meant to be her final one. It stretched for 325 performances.
The new tour will bring Cher to the Twin Cities on Wednesday, June 11. She will be performing at the Target Center.
The tour will be in support of her forthcoming album Closer to the Truth.
Cher is currently one trophy away from landing the coveted "EGOT." She has won an Oscar, a Grammy and an Emmy, but has not yet won a Tony Award.
She has also landed a number one single on a Billboard chart during each of the last six decades.
