Cheapo In Uptown To Relocate
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- At a time when the popularity of vinyl records is on the rise, an iconic Minneapolis music store is relocating.
Cheapo in Uptown has just a couple months left on its lease before it will need to find a new home.
The record store has been at its current spot on West Lake Street for 17 years. The decades-old building is being demolished to make room for some new apartments.
Cheapo executives say they plan to stay in Uptown, but it's still bittersweet to say goodbye to their spot.
