Charges: St. Paul Man Sexually Assaulted Vulnerable Adult
HASTINGS (WCCO) -- A Burnsville foster care facility worker has been accused of sexually assaulting an 18-year-old vulnerable woman, according to the Dakota County Attorney's Office.
Geoffrey Edward Florance, 26, of St. Paul was charged with one count each of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, third-degree assault and criminal abuse of a vulnerable adult by a caregiver resulting in substantial bodily harm.
According to authorities, Florance was employed at the facility when the assault is alleged to have occurred, which is during the morning hours of March 27, 2012.
No bail has been set for Florance pending a hearing on April 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. in Hastings.
