Charges: Nurse Stole Oxycodone From Patients
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 31-year-old nurse, employed at a senior care assisted living facility, has been charged with stealing narcotics from patients.
Jeana Mary Turner, of Ramsey, is charged with one count of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud. According to the charges, Turner stole oxycodone in March by removing it from sealed blister pack cards and replacing it with loratadine, commonly sold as Claritin.
If convicted, Turner faces a potential maximum sentence of four years in prison.
