Charges: Mpls. Man, 36, Sexually Assaulted Teenage Relative

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 36-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting his teenage relative for approximately two years, according to the Hennepin County Attorney's Office.

Luis Ariolfo Paredes-Quinto allegedly sexually assaulted the female victim who resided at the same residence because her parents had moved.

According to the criminal complaint, the victim told authorities that he started abusing her in 2008 when she was 14 years old, began having sex with her when she was 15 and continued until after she was 16 years old. He allegedly stopped in May 2010 when her father was returning for her.

Paredes-Quinto faces three felony charges of first-degree sexual conduct, one count of second-degree sexual conduct and one count of third-degree sexual conduct.

If convicted, Paredes-Quinto could face up to life in prison.
