Catching Up With Former Vikings Coach Les Steckel
MANKATO, Minn. (WCCO) – A familiar face returned to Minnesota Vikings training camp recently after nearly a 20-year absence.
Les Steckel became the Vikings head coach in 1984 after Bud Grant retired, but the stint only lasted one season. The Vikings went 3-13 and he was fired.
