Carjacking Suspect Rolls Vehicle In Fargo
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Police say a carjacker held up two movie theater employees at gunpoint in Moorhead, Minn., stole one of their vehicles and led authorities on a brief chase before crashing the car in neighboring Fargo, N.D.
Authorities say the Safari Cinema employees were leaving work at about 4 a.m. Wednesday when the suspect approached them with a gun and asked for their keys. Police say they recovered a pellet gun after the man crashed the car he stole into a curb, tree and a sign. The car rolled and ended up on its top, and firefighters had to extricate the man from the vehicle.
The 20-year-old suspect refused medical treatment for a cut on the head and was taken to jail.
