Calif. Man Killed By Driver In Rogers
ROGERS, Minn. (WCCO) – A California man was killed by a driver who may have fallen asleep at the wheel Saturday evening in Rogers.
According to Rogers Police chief Jeff Beahen, a 49-year-old man was walking westbound on Rogers Drive, which parallels I-94, when a 20-year-old man driving eastbound crossed the center line – striking and killing the pedestrian around 5:15 p.m.
The driver was taken to the hospital for drug and alcohol testing.
