Burnsville Man Indicted For Murder, Other Crimes
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Burnsville man has been indicted for a number of crimes, including murder, in the shooting death of 38-year-old James Edward Koenig.
Robert Michael Thomas, 46, was charged with one count each of murder while committing second-degree assault, manslaughter, intentional discharge of a firearm, endangering another and reckless discharge of a firearm in a municipality -- all, which are felonies.
Thomas is accused of shooting Koenig on Jan. 23 in Thomas' Burnsville home. Police believe the two had an argument that led to the shooting.
Thomas made his first court appearance Monday. He was also charged last month with one count of second-degree murder.
Thomas' next court appearance will be March 7.
