Buck Hill Opening Wednesday For Its 60th Year
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Don't be surprised if you see snow-making machines busy at work Wednesday morning south of the Twin Cities.
Buck Hill, one of the most popular ski hills in the Twin Cities, announced that it's opening for the 2013-14 ski season at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Officials there said four runs and three lifts will be open for skiing and snowboarding.
Wednesday's hours will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and lift tickets will be $15 for everyone. Buck Hill will also be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday this weekend, and lift tickets will be $20. The facility is located about nine miles south of the Interstate 35W/Interstate 494 junction.
