Brooklyn Park Man Sentenced For Champlin Bank Robbery
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 21-year-old Brooklyn Park man was sentenced Tuesday in federal court in connection with the Oct. 26, 2011, armed robbery of the First Minnesota Bank in Champlin, Minn.
Boyd Jerome Morson II, was sentenced to 42 months in prison on one count of armed bank robbery after being indicted on Nov. 22, 2011 and pleading guilty on March 5, 2012.
Morson's co-defendant, Lawrence Deangelo Williamson, 21, also of Brooklyn Park, was sentenced to 60 months in prison on June 1, 2012.
In their respective plea agreements, the men admitted to stealing $16,900 from the bank.
