Brooklyn Park, Ham Lake 'Wedding Crasher' Theft Suspects ID'd
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Three suspects accused of stealing checks, cash and gift cards while crashing a wedding reception have been identified by police.
The Anoka County Sheriff's Office issued arrest warrants for two of the three suspects -- 41-year-old Derrick Duane Manson and 42-year-old Aaron Ray Martin in Anoka County.
Manson is also wanted by the Brooklyn Park Police Department in connection with an earlier theft that occurred at a wedding reception at Edinburgh Country Club. In that case, police believe Manson was accompanied by 30-year-old Sara Rose Lindstrom.
The Edinburgh Country Club theft occurred on July 6. The Ham Lake theft, which occurred at the Majestic Oaks Golf Club, happened on July 24.
Both thefts were captured on surveillance camera.
"It's sad that someone would choose to victimize people during the happiest day of their lives. I am glad that justice is being delivered for the newlyweds," said Anoka County Sheriff James Stuart in a released statement.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of these suspects is asked to call the Anoka County Sheriff's Office at 763-427-1212 or the Brooklyn Park Police at 763-493-8222.
