Brooklyn Center Fire Destroys Home
BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. (WCCO) -- A two-alarm house fire has left a Brooklyn Center residence uninhabitable, according to officials.
The fire began early Sunday afternoon at a home on the 6700 block of Quail Avenue North.
Brooklyn Park Fire Chief Ken Prillaman said it was a one-story home and no one was inside at the time of the fire. The neighbors called in to report the blaze. Emergency crews have not been able to reach the homeowners.
The fire was contained mostly to the front of the home but Prillaman said the damage has left it uninhabitable.
The Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Center and West Metro fire departments were all called to the scene.
