Broncos-Vikings Move To Noon CT; Game Not Sold Out
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — The kickoff for the Denver-Minnesota game on Dec. 4 has been moved up from 3 p.m. Central time to noon.
The NFL also announced Monday that the broadcast would switch from CBS to Fox, as part of the league's flexible scheduling plan over the last two months of the season.
For the game to be shown in the Twin Cities television market, the Vikings have some seats to sell. Chief marketing officer Steve LaCroix said Monday there are 5,800 tickets remaining for the Broncos game. The Vikings haven't had a TV blackout of a home game since 1997.
They've sold the required amount of tickets to reach virtual sellouts and ensure local TV coverage for 141 straight games.
