Bridal Show Helps Fight Breast Cancer
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - The Brides Against Breast Cancer tour has made its way to Minneapolis. One thousand designer and brand name wedding gowns will be for sale at the Millennium Hotel.
Show manager Kelsey Anderson says the discounts are deep.
"All of our gowns are discounted up to 85-percent off the original value. And they've been donated by designers, manufacturers and brides," Anderson said.
Dresses range from size zero to 30, and in price from $99 to $3,500.
"Basically, a dress for every bride, every size and every style," she said.
The money goes to help pay for support services for women with breast cancer.
The event costs $5 to get in. You can shop until 9 p.m. Friday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
