Boy Pulled From Frigid Pond Goes Home
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- One of the children pulled from a frigid pond may now be sleeping in his own bed.
A family friend says 5-year-old Amani Coleman-Guerrido went home from the hospital Tuesday.
Less than three weeks ago, Coleman-Guerrido's mother lost control of her car in St. Louis Park. It sank in a retention pond, trapping five children underwater for at least 20 minutes.
Two of them drowned.
But Coleman-Guerrido is home now.
And the other surviving children – 6-year-old Zarihana Rennieare and 1-year-old Aliyana Rennie -- are still in the hospital.
