Cops: Bomb Threat Leads To School Evacuation In NE Mpls
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A charter school was evacuated in Minneapolis Wednesday afternoon when a bomb squad responded to a suspicious package report on 1534 6th St. Northeast.
Sgt. Steve McCarty, of Minneapolis Police, said the bomb squad responded to a suspicious package report at 2:40 p.m. He said the package resembled a pipe bomb.
As of Wednesday evening, McCarty said the situation was under control. However, he did not know what the suspicious package held.
