Body Found In Renville County
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The body of what appeared to be an adult man was found in a corn field Saturday afternoon, according to police.
The Renville County Sheriff's Office received a report around 5 p.m. from a farmer who had been harvesting the corn.
The field, where the body was located, is about 10 miles of Hector, Minn. in Brookfield Township.
The body was taken to the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office in Ramsey, Minn. for an autopsy. The man has not yet been identified.
An investigation into the man's death is ongoing. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has responded to the scene.
