Body Found In Northern Minn. IDed As Missing Man
DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — Remains found in northern Minnesota have been identified as those of a man missing for two years.
The St. Louis County medical examiner's office says hunters on Sunday discovered the remains in a swampy area near a wildlife trail. Rescue squad cadaver dogs found additional clothing and remains.
Dental records were used to positively identify the body as that of 44-year-old Andrew Owca. He went missing in October 2010.
An autopsy this week found no signs of trauma. Authorities say they've closed their investigation into Owca's disappearance.
