4 Bodies Recovered From Plane Wreckage In Wyo.
LANDER, Wyo. (AP) -- Searchers have removed four bodies from wreckage of a small plane in the mountains of western Wyoming.
Fremont County Coroner Ed McAuslan says the recovery operation to remove the bodies of a Minnesota man and his three sons went smoothly. He says the work began at 7 a.m. Tuesday and was concluded by 5 p.m.
A search team found the missing plane late Monday at an elevation of about 11,000 feet on a steep mountainside in the Wind River Range. It had disappeared after taking off from Jackson in a snowstorm a week earlier.
Luke Bucklin, 40, was piloting the plane, and his 14-year-old twins Nate and Nick and 12-year-old son Noah were passengers.
