Police: Man In Custody After Pursuit In South Metro
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police arrested a man with an outstanding warrant Monday after he crashed his car following a brief pursuit.
According to Bloomington police, an officer attempted to stop the 30-year-old Columbia Heights man at about 2:30 p.m.
The man fled north on Interstate 35W into Minneapolis before crashing in the area of 57th Street and Morgan Avenue South.
The suspect fled on foot. He was tracked by a K-9 and taken into custody, police said.
No one was hurt during the pursuit.
