Blind Dog, Guide Dog Duo Find New Home
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Two memorable dogs WCCO-TV first introduced you to a couple weeks ago now have a home.
Remember Daisy and Duke? Daisy is 10 years old and blind, so Duke is her seeing-eye dog.
Daisy is also Duke's mother and the two have never been apart.
They were staying with the rescue group Second Hand Hounds who was having a hard time finding a family to adopt them. They needed a yard with a fence to keep Daisy from wandering away.
After the WCCO-TV story aired, a couple from the south metro called and have since adopted the two dogs. They are apparently adjusting very well to their new digs.
