Bills To Speak To Conservative Group In Duluth
DULUTH, Minn. (AP) -- Republican U.S. Senate candidate Kurt Bills is campaigning in Duluth where he will speak to a meeting of the Citizens' Research Council.
Bills' campaign says his Thursday speech will focus on job creation, economic growth and the national debt. The Citizens' Research Council is comprised of members of several Duluth-area Republican and conservative-oriented groups, and is committed to electing more conservatives to public office.
Bills is a state representative and high school teacher from Rosemount. He is facing Sen. Amy Klobuchar, the incumbent Democrat running for a second term.
