Biden Hosting Tuesday Rallies In Minneapolis, Rochester
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Presidential politics will be making news on Tuesday in Minnesota.
The 2012 campaign has Vice President Joe Biden flying into the Twin Cities late Tuesday morning to attend two events. He's planning to talk about the economy at campaign rallies in Minneapolis and Rochester.
The last time Biden visited Minnesota was back in April, to help raise money for Sen. Amy Klobuchar's campaign.
Tuesday, he's pushing for votes to get President Obama re-elected for another four years. His first rally is at 12:30 p.m. at The Depot Hotel in downtown Minneapolis.
Then at about 4:30 p.m., he's scheduled to be in Rochester, speaking at the Olmsted County Fairgrounds. If you're looking for tickets to either event, you might have luck if you get in contact with the Obama campaign headquarters.
Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney will be heading to Minnesota later this week too.
On Thursday, the Republican candidate is planning to attend private fundraisers in Lake Minnetonka and Shoreview.
