Best Veteran's Day Drink Specials In Minnesota

On the 11th day of the 11th month each year, veterans across the United States are honored for their service to the country. Unlike Memorial Day, which honors those who fell in the line of duty, Veterans Day celebrates those who served in the military during both wartime and peacetime. These are people we can look in the eye and say, "thank you." With numerous events throughout Minnesota to commemorate the day, sometimes the best thing to do is sit back, catch up with some buddies or spend time with families over a drink or great meal. Some of our local watering holes take it even further, offering discounted drinks and more on this special day. Here are some of the places for veterans to visit for the upcoming holiday.

The Glockenspiel
605 7th St W
St Paul, MN 55102

Eat and drink and be merry at the Glockenspiel, where veterans will get a 15 percent discount on any tab $25 and over. Enjoy a hot plate of German food to get ready for at least one stein of beer filled the brim, or perhaps a shot of one of their specialty liqueurs to honor our nation's veterans. For Veterans Day, it's a great place to round up the old crew and get together to talk about the days spent in service.

James Ballentine Uptown VFW

Minneapolis, MN 55408

Veterans will enjoy discounts all day long at one of those most happening VFWs in the state of Minnesota. But for those looking to celebrate with the current and former members of the United States military, it's not a bad option either. Not only will you be able to partake in one of the coolest karaokes in town, but cheap drinks and lively atmosphere make it a great option for celebration. Bringing people from all backgrounds, the type of camaraderie found here truly shows the type of community the members of our armed forces enlisted to protect.
