Best Of MN: Ice Cream
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Where's the best ice cream in Minnesota?
WCCO viewers led Matt Brickman to Nelson's Ice Cream in Stillwater.
"I'd say what people really enjoy about Nelson's is that you get a massive portion," Dave Najarian of Nelson's said.
A child's size is rather sizable and the largest serving is called the Lumberjack.
It's not just the size that sets Nelson's apart as it boasts 48 flavors.
"I don't think there's anyone in the state, probably in the tri-state area, that serves 48 flavors," Najarian said.
Even though the shop opened in 1923 and a few different owners have shuffled through, it has remained a Stillwater staple.
