Best Buy Joins In The Free-Shipping Fray
NEW YORK (AP) -- Best Buy has joined the free-shipping wars, offering the lure on many online orders for the holidays.
Best Buy says hundreds of thousands of items are included. Some items such as Apple Inc.'s iPads, video game consoles and major appliances are not.
All CDs, Blu-Ray and DVD movies and gaming software and accessories are included.
Other retailers have begun offering free shipping programs to entice shoppers to open their wallets this holiday season, including Wal-Mart Stores Inc., J.C. Penney and Target Corp.
Best Buy Co. is based in Richfield, Minn.
