Benilde-St. Margaret's Holds Benefit For Jabs
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) –- The hockey community got together Saturday to have a little fun and show its support for a friend and teammate.
Benilde-St. Margaret's helped host a benefit for Jack Jablonski. The sophomore severed his spinal cord during a hockey game in December.
At the fundraiser, people enjoyed live music and chatted with local NHL stars Wes Walz, Matt Cullen and others.
Over the weekend, Jablonski got a visit from some Minnesota Twins, such as Carl Pavano and Justin Morneau.
On his CaringBridge site, Jack's parents said he did a little showing off -- performing some of his physical therapy after doctors said he likely wouldn't move his arms.
