Bemidji Complain Of Mosquitoes More Than Most, Study Says
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - No Minnesota resident is pleased to see a mosquito, but residents of Bemidji may be the most mosquito-shy of all.
The pest control company Terminix ranked U.S. cities by the frequency their residents complain about mosquitoes.
Bemidji came in at No. 7, the most mosquito-averse town in Minnesota.
The analysis was based on tweets per capita and found that "small towns were the most bugged out by mosquitoes."
Goodland, Kansas, residents mentioned the insect the most. Bowling Green, Ohio, was third and Petoskey, Michigan, was first.
