Beasley's Ankle Has Saturday Status In Question
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Minnesota Timberwolves forward Michael Beasley is still bothered by his sprained left ankle, leaving his status in question for the next game.
Coach Kurt Rambis said Beasley participated in all of Friday's practice but said the team's second-leading scorer was continuing to favor the ankle as he moved around. The Timberwolves host Orlando on Saturday.
Beasley was held out of Thursday's win over Washington after aggravating the nagging injury in Tuesday's loss to San Antonio.
Rookie Wes Johnson replaced Beasley at small forward in the starting lineup on Thursday. In his first season with Minnesota, Beasley is averaging 20.9 points and 33.7 minutes per game.
