Beasley To Miss 3 Games With Foot Injury
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota Timberwolves forward Michael Beasley will miss at least the next three games with a sprained right foot.
Beasley had an MRI on Saturday, which revealed no broken bones. He was injured with less than two minutes to play in Friday night's loss to Cleveland.
The Timberwolves are preparing for their first back-to-back-to-back of the season. They start in Washington on Sunday, go to Toronto on Monday and finish it up with a home game against Chicago on Tuesday night.
Guard J.J. Barea, who has missed four of the last five games with a strained left hamstring, will make the trip to Washington. But his status for the upcoming games has yet to be determined. Barea will be a game-time decision on Sunday against the Wizards.
